Senior Weld Engineer

Description:

The Senior Weld Engineer develops, manages, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of a sound welding program through improved weld processes, design specification review, techniques, inspections, and safety procedures. The Sr. Welding Engineer will interact daily with design, manufacturing, and quality engineering including ARV partners and supporting departments to make welding judgment calls and improvements. This includes developing standardized practices and procedures on multiple welded assemblies up to and including combat ground vehicle hulls, turrets, and the qualification of material combinations, PQR?s, and WPS?s thereof to AWS and Military specifications.

We are looking for a Sr. Weld Engineer to work for our Troy, and Sterling Heights, MI offices.
