We're seeking an experienced and highly accomplished Senior Vice President, Business Development / Enterprise Sales - with a focus on Pharma Partnerships and analyze opportunities to expand Ada’s footprint at target pharmaceutical customers, executing a consistent discovery and definition process to understand customer needs and define value propositions for our digital platform. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing new relationships with, nurturing existing partnerships, and generating revenue via strategic partnerships. Your deep industry knowledge and extensive network of senior / C-level contacts will be instrumental in expanding our pharmaceutical/healthcare partnerships portfolio.

 

Location: Fully remote - US (East Coast)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and foster new partnerships with Pharmaceutical companies while driving and doubling revenue growth in both new and existing pharmaceutical customers.
  • Leverage your extensive network of senior pharma contacts, accumulated through years of trust-building and client-centric approach, to forge new connections and strengthen existing ones.
  • Navigate complex buying circles and stakeholders across functions at pharmaceutical companies, acting as the central point of contact for a portfolio of deals.
  • Simultaneously manage multiple customers who are at different points in the “partnership funnel”.
  • Serve as subject matter expert with issues related to Brand P&L, Patient Services, Pharma Market Access, Commercial Strategy, and Sales to understand potential partners' needs and challenges.
  • Utilize your in-depth product knowledge and industry expertise to efficiently communicate the unique value proposition and impact of our offerings to prospective partners.
  • Standardize the framework and the business model; adopt and own the business development process to drive all opportunities through the funnel stages from new lead to close.
  • Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders and teams, including Senior Management, Product, AI/IT, Legal, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Finance, Marketing and Operations, to align the needs of partners, conduct due diligence, manage RFIs/RFPs, negotiate agreement terms, gain key stakeholders’ support, and present recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Skillfully negotiate complex partner contracts to launch new programs.
  • Work cross-functionally with the internal team to discover and evangelize new use cases for the customer, helping them to deepen and expand their usage of the product.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to evolve and strengthen our go-to-market strategy, messaging, and product offering.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of direct enterprise sales or partnership experience in a similar type of role with Pharmaceutical Companies, ideally in a global scale-up environment with a strong focus on North America, particularly the US.
  • Deep network of senior contacts within the Pharmaceutical Industry built over years of establishing trust with your clients and always putting their needs ahead of your own.
  • Proven track record of managing and closing complex commercial partnerships and growing businesses.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior and C-suite leadership at Pharmaceutical Companies.
  • Recognized thought leadership in the healthcare / pharmaceutical sector, which may include speaking engagements, published articles, contributions to industry forums, or similar, showcasing your deep knowledge and influence in the field.
  • Extensive experience in engaging with international markets beyond North America, demonstrating a deep understanding of the global pharmaceutical landscape and the ability to navigate diverse regulatory environments and market dynamics.
  • Experience building long-term relationships and partnering with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Ability to provide consultative guidance and navigate the complexities and unique needs of clients across various drug and therapeutic areas.
