Description:
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our design team, someone with a passion for creative and dynamic insights to make ever-more engaging and helpful products. As a Senior UX Designer, you will creatively lead every step of the design process for HP Anyware from research and creativity to production handoff for various experiences with a primary focus on remote access software and services. The HP Anyware portfolio provides a high-performance, secure and easy to manage solution to access Windows, Linux and macOS applications hosted in the public cloud or private data center.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to ideate user centric design solutions for digital products and services and designs user experience solutions for products and services based on established design principles and in accordance with design strategy, practices, and guidelines.
- Validate research through stakeholder reporting, design ideation through wire-framing and mock-ups, interactive prototypes and improved user experience solutions.
- Work with the development team(s) to ensure technical needs are satisfied while maintaining a strong focus on the user experience.
- Collaborate closely with product stakeholders to facilitate workshops, design Iteration and ensure project goals and objectives are successfully met.
- Lead an experienced design team, including internal and outsourced partners, whilst providing valuable experience and guidance to more junior members along all stages of the product design life cycle with the unified goal of building a portfolio of user-centric, future-ready digital products.
- Manage and facilitate healthy relationships and communication between the product stakeholder teams to ensure product alignment and consistency.
- Able to review, evaluate and manage project activities for user experience, accessibility and development guidelines.
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies to help build upon our design language to further improve product UX.
Education And Experience Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, Information Design, or the equivalent professional experience.
- 6-10 years of professional experience as a User Experience, Product, or Interaction Designer; Information Architect; or similar with an extensive understanding of UX principles and heuristics.
- A creative yet pragmatic approach that aligns with agile design and development practices.
Knowledge And Skills
- Broad experience with application of design theories, principles, and concepts to a portfolio of multiple information technology and consumer products and services designs.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Broad understanding and experience in designing and implementing research and data collection plans for user experience testing and acceptance.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., product management, customer experience, engineering, etc.), ideally a skilled storyteller comfortable presenting their work for critique.
- Reviewing and evaluating designs for alignment with overall product architecture; recommending and implementing changes to designs and technology to improve product quality and overall user experience.
- Comfortable working with a variety of tools such as Figma, Miro, and Jira.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to effectively communicate user experience data, design proposals and product specifications and negotiate options at senior management levels.
