Job Description:
Your way to impact

You will lead a team of designers, engineers, researchers and analysts to define and execute on a vision for how to best meet our user’s needs. This will require exceptional verbal and written communication and the ability to influence up, down and around you with a bias towards clear, concise documentation supported with evidence. You will immerse yourself in the complexity of the Checkout product suite to become a subject matter expert in your area, continually identify opportunities to improve our experiences, and advocate on behalf of the customer using data and strategic thinking.

Your day to day

In your day to day you will:
 

  • Lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams to define and deliver a product roadmap that supports amazing customer experiences, while ensuring progress towards company goals and compliance with global regulations.
  • Execute on that roadmap by designing a clear experimentation strategy, creating and validating hypotheses, and compressing the feedback loop to learn and iterate as rapidly as possible.
  • Work with researchers, designers, and engineers to deeply understand customer needs and design simple but powerful solutions to their problems.
  • Constantly build relationships across the organization to drive collaboration and consensus on strategy.

  • Proven track record of rapidly learning complex problem spaces, breaking them down into actionable workstreams, and launching performant products that drive business value.
  • Ability to smoothly transition between strategic and tactical thinking, equally comfortable planning at the global level as solving problems at the edge.
  • Strong product thinking founded on defining and validating hypotheses, measuring results, and rapidly iterating to success.
  • Ability to scale a product vision across a large organization by effectively documenting and building artifacts to serve stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, facilitate effective organizational process, and inspire excellence across the team.
