Description:
With direction from the TM Program Design Manager, the Senior Talent Management Specialist is responsible for the design and development of a broad scope of Talent Management programs to meet enterprise priorities. The Senior Talent Management Specialist will lead and collaborate on agile problem-solving teams to design and develop solutions for talent management programs, which may include pipeline programs (early, mid, senior career), competencies and career pathing, learning and development, organizational design, organizational development, or performance management.
**The successful incumbent must be able to work in the Bechtel Reston, VA office for a minimum of 2 days a week.**
Responsibilities
- Acts as a project manager for the design and development of a broad scope of Talent Management programs to include presenting program information to key stakeholders to gain buy-in, forming work teams with colleagues from the business, managing timelines, communicating effectively, and ensuring quality of product.
- Translates high level strategy and conceptual design into detailed program design for areas of responsibilities.
- Designs, develops, and pilots a broad scope of Talent Management and Organizational Development programs to meet business needs and HR priorities across a global organization.
- Tailors enterprise programs to meet the needs of our global business units to ensure programs will resonate with all cultures and geographies that make up the Bechtel enterprise.
- Ensure a diversity, inclusion, and engagement lens is integrated into all talent management processes and systems.
- Ensures seamless transition of work responsibility from the program design team to program delivery within People Operations and our global business units.
- Collaborates with colleagues across HR, including Communities of Expertise, People Operations, and HR Business Partners from across the business.
- Utilize various data collection methodologies to help inform the design and development of Talent Management programs.
Qualifications And Skills
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related discipline with a minimum of 10-13 years of relevant experience with 5-7 years of experience with demonstrated increase in responsibility.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing Talent Management programs and solutions for the enterprise or specific departments.
- Demonstrated project management experience including leading project teams to accomplish Talent Management priorities for an organization.
- Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to accomplish a shared goal.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
