Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated Senior Systems Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense and Anti-Subsurface Warfare Trainer (CIAT) Test Engineer to join our team in King George, VA. This is an On-Site position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical, engineering, and analytical services for Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense and Anti-Subsurface Warfare Trainer (CIAT); you will provide technical, engineering, and analytical services for Test and Evaluation (T&E). The T&E effort supports the government’s responsibility to determine if the combat system is ready to be delivered to the ship and certified for use in the fleet
- Conduct Combat Systems Computer Software Certification Testing, Systems Operations, Data Analysis, and resolve Test Observation Report (TOR) issues
- Operate AEGIS Combat Systems proficiently to ensure smooth operations and readiness
- Manage and operate the Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense and Anti-Submarine Warfare Trainer (CIAT) effectively
- Provide operational support throughout the development and testing phases of the CIAT system
- Execute system testing on the Trainer, identifying and addressing technical issues encountered during testing
- Support Warfare Acceptance Test events for CIAT conducted by the AEGIS Training and Readiness Center (ATRC) and Navy personnel
- Troubleshoot issues associated with AEGIS baseline 6 through 9 systems and configure and maintain the Operating Systems (OS) for Baselines 6 and above
Minimum Qualifications:
- Eight (8) years of experience in engineering, design, development, or testing and evaluation of Navy combat systems
- Five (5) years of specific experience in test requirements definition, test plan/procedures development, test data reduction/analysis, and computer program performance analysis/reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent Navy Operational Combat Systems experience
- Travel approximately 20% to various locations, primarily Norfolk, VA, Corona, CA, and San Diego, CA, to support test events, and requires short notice travel flexibility
