Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for developing and delivering best-in-class integrated marketing programs that optimize United Airlines revenue and profitability. Responsibilities include development and execution of promotions and communications to drive bookings on United and increase customer engagement.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop annual marketing plans while working closely with outside agencies and vendors to ensure program and promotion objectives are shared and supported
  • Communicate the status of programs on an ongoing basis to collaborators while driving improved processes/efficiencies
  • Serve as project lead for all promotions and programs, running communication strategy, creative development process, production schedules, approval processes and budgets
  • Responsible for ensuring delivery of campaigns on time, on budget, with high quality and low errors
  • Develop the overall communications strategy (audience, message) for programs and promotions and coordinate with other partners such as PR, digital, and operations to ensure communications are integrated and consistent across channels. Ensure all member communications adhere to the United and MileagePlus brand, and the overall corporate strategy
  • Employ direct marketing best practices to ensure campaigns are effectively targeted in order to deliver highly relevant offers to customer groups and to appropriately handle audience overlap from various promotions
  • Drive in-market tests with defined test and control cells to continually learn and improve return on investment results
  • Share test results with team members
  • Incorporate findings and competitive insights into future plans while using marketing, loyalty and airline industry standard processes
