The Global Payments team is building a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, such as TikTok, Helo, Games, Education, etc.

We Are Looking For a Self-driven Software Engineer To Drive Payment Risk & Compliance Backend Development, And Protect Users, Merchants, And The Platform In The Payment Ecosystem. You Will Have The Opportunity To Partner Closely With Globalized Engineering And Product Teams In a High-impact And Fast-paced Environment. The Responsibility Of This Position
 

• Participate in payment risk & compliance backend development, to provide the best payment experience to billions of users
• Work with different stakeholders to decide project priorities, define product deliverables, and drive technical initiatives from execution to landing
  
   

Qualifications
 

• BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors
• Experience in building modern payment systems, and experience in Risk & Compliance is a bonus point
• Proficient in one or multiple programming languages, e.g. Go, C/C++, Java, Python, etc.
• Experience in the distributed system, backend API development and related fields
• Good product sense, experience in building large-scale consumer-facing product
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
