Senior Sales & Development Mgr

 

Description:

The Senior Sales & Development Manager - Aftermarket is accountable for Service Sales Operations in direct /indirect markets, including reaching Service Sales and Service SM targets. This role is responsible for establishing the overall strategic direction in alignment with GSE Service Strategy and Regional Strategy and has significant impact on meeting financial and business expectations of the regional targets.

 

 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement Service Sales Strategy and be accountable for reaching budgeted sales growths
  • Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Service Sales Operations in all Business Operations in direct/indirect markets
  • Develop and strengthen service culture
  • Participate in M&A projects in engine services business and leadership in corresponding post-merger integration for business operations including KPI systems, Digital and IT (PMI)
  • Facilitate and drive cross-regional cooperation and to all JB interface functions
  • Drive and monitor initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and order Intake within the NAM Service Sales organization
  • Drive aftermarket sales growth outside of our Jenbacher product line
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with all internal stakeholders and customers alike
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure on-time delivery of parts and services sold
  • Create go to market strategies for all product lines supported
  • Oversee the quotation, negotiation and signing of LTSA for all customers.
  • Support Aftermarket Sales financial planning across all Service business and product lines

 

Your Profile:

  • Technical degree in Industrial Engineering (or similar), in addition ideally business degree/MBA
  • Significant years of management experience in an internationally operating company in relevant industry (Combustion Engines, Power Generation or Oil & Gas segment)
  • Several years of experience managing global organization in multiple remote geographies
  • Profound years of experience in management roles in the field of Service operations and/or Customer Service Management
  • Excellent technical attitude, complemented by strong business acumen including excellent IT skills SFDC , Oracle
  • Strong strategy development and hands-on operational implementation approach
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% if needed
  • Strong change agent and continuous improvement mindset
