The technology stems from over five years of research at MIT, led by Magnendo’s founder and CEO, Yoonho Kim, Ph.D. The company is co-founded by Aman Patel, M.D. (Chief Medical Officer) and Miki Rosenberg (Chief Development Officer). Magnendo's oversubscribed seed funding has garnered support from numerous physicians and subject matter experts.

The position:

As we build our team, we leverage a network of consultancies to develop our initial fully integrated product. Reporting to the CDO, you will be working closely with these consultancies to:

• Develop algorithms and software to optimize the performance of Magnendo’s robotic arm manipulation.
• Drive the integration and testing of software prototypes, allowing for rapid iterations consistent with iterative development processes.
• Translate control algorithms into working, reliable software.

Qualification:

Education:

A MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.

Experience:

Candidates should have strong technical skills including proficiency in C++ and Python and experience with a Linux environment and command line tools, as well as familiarity with build systems (CMake) and version control systems (GIT). A proven track record of excellence, with 5+ years of experience in medical robotics or related fields is required. Additionally, familiarity with robotic development tools such as Drake, ROS, Moveit, and RVIZ is highly preferred.
