Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced D365 Product Owner to join our Agile team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, integration, and automation within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of how businesses utilize data and how downstream systems consume it.
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize the product backlog for the Dynamics 365 platform ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
- Ensure that data provided by external/3rd party vendors is correctly processed and provided to downstream systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and enhancements.
- Utilize basic SQL skills to perform data analysis and validation, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.
- Drive data integration efforts, including pulling in data from various sources and conforming it to meet business requirements.
- Adopt and implement Agile best practices, ensuring proper documentation of Stories and Epics that capture the business needs; drive culture of accountability.
- Ensure proper implementation of agile processes, including refining backlogs, prioritizing user stories, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and defining product requirements.
- Drive delivery of scalable solutions that meet immediate and strategic business needs, aligned to strategic IT roadmaps.
- Partner across Operations department to link technology solutions to workflows and process changes, including UAT and training; help drive technology and process transformation for Specialty Insurance.
Competencies
- Product Owner experience
- Strong background in data analysis, integration, and automation within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
- 5+ years of P&C insurance experience, representing In-depth knowledge of insurance operations.
