Senior Product Designer

Description:

Big Human, a New York City-based technology, design, and branding company, is looking for a Senior Product Designer to create innovative digital experiences across platforms, websites, and apps. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team working on cutting-edge design solutions while helping brands transition into the digital space.

Key Responsibilities:

🎨 Lead Product Design Projects: From discovery to wireframes, design, and launch across web and mobile platforms.
📊 Develop & Maintain Design Systems: Ensure consistency and usability through structured design frameworks.
🛠️ UX/UI & Prototyping: Create intuitive and visually compelling user experiences using tools like Figma.
📢 Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and articulate design decisions to internal teams and clients.
🔍 User Research & Workshops: Conduct research, facilitate design sprints, and iterate based on feedback.
👩‍🏫 Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance to junior designers and lead projects with autonomy.

Minimum Requirements:

✔ 4-6 years of experience in product design at an agency, studio, or in-house brand.
✔ Strong UI/UX skills with expertise in Figma and a solid portfolio showcasing web and mobile product design.
✔ Experience leading projects from concept to completion, including working with developers.
✔ Ability to conduct user research, design workshops, and client presentations.
✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✔ Proactive mindset, adaptability to changing priorities, and a problem-solving attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

⭐ Illustration or branding experience
⭐ Motion graphics or 3D modeling (After Effects, Blender, Cinema4D, etc.)
⭐ Experience with tools like Unreal Engine, Unity, Framer, Webflow
⭐ Passionate curiosity about internet trends and future-forward tech
