Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides assets, specifications, and guidance for implementation of the design system throughout the development process.
- Serves as a subject matter expert across multiple products and helps mentor junior product designers.
- Collaborates with various different user types, either customer or business-facing, serving as part of the process from start to finish with the product manager.
- Works in tandem with product to lead presentations to stakeholders, leadership teams, and steering committees.
- Participates in standups and design critiques to assist peers and associate designers grow their skills.
- Takes initiative to iterate or improve upon team’s workflow and design process.
- Listens to and understand a user's role in the organization. As someone with human-centered design skills, you will problem-solve with our users and stakeholders to learn their pain points and support their needs.
- Collaborates easily across different teams and products and tracks project milestones to maintain accountability.
- Exercises strategic product thinking with the ability to develop and set project goals, identifies opportunities, and makes decisions based on the impact to users and business goals.
Education, License or Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or related field or equivalent, related experience.
Experience:
- Typically possesses 3 or more years of direct experience in designing complex enterprise applications and 1-2 years of related business experience
- Portfolio exemplifying strong sense of design and depth of experience, including human-centered design methodologies, interaction flows, prototyping, high-fidelity screens, and shipped products.
- Committed to being a trusted mentor and thought leader willing to take the lead on projects and see them through from beginning to end.
- 2+ years of prior experience with user research methods and early product scoping.
- Expert proficiency with Figma, Sketch and/or other design tools.
- Nice to Haves: Experience with Airtable, Maze, and LucidChart.
