Description:

We are seeking a Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Analyst with a diverse range of technical proficiencies and robust programming expertise. This pivotal role entails collaborating with operational stakeholders to design and implement modeling, simulation, and analysis tools at the convergence of mathematics, physics, engineering, and programming. These tools are instrumental in producing and evaluating outcomes while deriving invaluable insights. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an aptitude, and enthusiasm, for learning new methodologies and strategies through on-the-job engagement, fostering productive collaborations with fellow team members.

CUIC provides modeling and analysis for several initiatives for INDOPACOM and the Service components in Hawaii. The individual will be responsible for the rapid integration and translation of CUIC capabilities to include modeling and simulation, digital engineering, architecture development, and prototype development to address critical needs in INDOPACOM.

This position requires a 3-month minimum, 6-month preferred assignment within CUIC at the McLean, VA or Bedford, MA campus with a 3-year relocation to Honolulu, HI. After the relocation, the candidate will assist in shaping additional CUIC delivery and scaling the CUIC model through on-island MITRE staff and hires. The intent is for the individual to integrate and learn CUIC capabilities in Bedford/McLean prior to relocating to Hawaii to maximize the ability to leverage CUIC capabilities and promote cross-pollination across the teams.
