Description:
This position assists the department supervisor with large scope project work and initiatives designed to fulfill a wide range of Risk Adjustment duties.
A Day In The Life
- Oversees with the day-to-day operations of daily workflow and projects.
- Executes on departmental project plans.
- Coordinates and manages communication between supervisor, staff and affected parties on daily work and project expectations; resolves and tracks issues related to obstacles to meet deadlines.
- Documents, maintains, and reviews medical records, process workflows, and related information in electronic files.
- May coordinate the work of staff on a project or day-to-day basis.
- Exercises initiative in performing administrative duties and resolving problems; tracks issues and effectively communicates operational information, maintains calendars and schedules, and coordinates meetings as needed.
- Coordinate and facilitates training to new hires and staff as needed.
- Act as a resource for others with less experience.
- Participates in cross functional projects as subject matter expert or contributor.
- Completes self-direct work and complete tasks assigned.
- Partners with the supervisor to find efficiencies and effective workflows.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experiences
- 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
- Ability to provide proactive workflow management, juggling and prioritizing multiple projects.
- Ability to solve practical problems and fulfill responsibilities under minimal supervision.
- Excellent people skills including customer service skills.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management & planning skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume atmosphere.
