Description:
The Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the coordination of marketing, sales, and content efforts. This role is critical in ensuring that marketing and sales campaigns are aligned, effectively integrated, and drive growth, revenue, and customer satisfaction while also overseeing our content marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing operations, campaign management, and content marketing with a focus on integrated marketing.
Responsibilities:
Integrated Campaign Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop integrated marketing and sales campaign strategies that align with overall business goals and KPIs. Specifically, work on developing and implementing campaigns to drive new customer acquisition and customer retention.
Campaign Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing and sales campaigns, ensuring seamless coordination between the two departments.
Content Strategy and Oversight: Develop and oversee content marketing strategies that align with integrated campaigns, ensuring content supports marketing and sales objectives. Provide leadership on competitive analysis to drive marketing content and concept execution.
Content Creation and Distribution: Oversee the creation, distribution, and promotion of content across various channels, including website, blog, social media, email, and more.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships and collaboration between marketing, sales, and content teams to ensure that campaign efforts are aligned, optimized, and supported by relevant content. Specifically, collaborate with Sales on streamlining the sales collateral including updating materials and increasing utilization of assets. Additionally, represent Marketing with IT, Operations, Services, Sales, and Product in support of business needs and be the voice of the customer in decision making.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to track, measure, and report on the performance of integrated marketing, sales, and content campaigns, providing actionable insights for optimization. Specifically, develop CRM and content reporting dashboards in collaboration with appropriate teams.
Budget Management: Manage the budget for integrated campaigns and content marketing, including allocation, tracking, and reporting, to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Team Management: Manage direct reports as may be assigned including providing guidance and training to the marketing, sales, and content teams on integrated campaign strategies, content best practices, and emerging trends. Ensure ongoing development of the team and maintaining high performance standards.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with marketing, sales, and content vendors, agencies, and third-party service providers, ensuring they deliver high-quality services and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required
10-15 years within sales & marketing
Demonstrated experience overseeing project and cross-functional teams is required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written & verbal
CRM Experience and comfortable with dashboards, KPI reports, analytics required.
Must have very strong MS Office skills especially in Excel and PowerPoint
Natural curiosity and willingness to learn
