Description:
Clutch is looking for an experienced, collaborative, and results-driven Senior Manager, Sales Operations to help scale our internal business processes.
This role will lead our sales operation function and be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of sales operations. This role requires an understanding of sales strategy, an ability to understand & optimize the sales process, extensive knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management), strong people management skills, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth through efficient processes and team leadership. This role will work closely with our Senior Director of Operations & sales leadership to drive our sales efficiency.
As a Senior Manager, Sales Operations you will work cross-functionally to identify new ways to automate sales processes and help each function scale Clutch’s operations through improved CRM functioning, data management, accurate and standardized reporting, sales process optimization, tool integrations, and workflow automation. You will leverage best practices you’ve learned from previous experiences to optimize existing tools and introduce new ones into our stack that enable each team to improve their customer-facing communications and boost sales & satisfaction scores.
This role is based out of our Washington, DC office. Clutch operates a hybrid working environment, and candidates must be able and willing to work 2-3x per week out of the office (located in DuPont Circle).
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the analysis and continuous improvement of sales processes to maximize efficiency & productivity
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, implementing solutions to streamline workflows
- Collaborate with with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Customer Success, Finance & Data Analytics teams to ensure seamless process integration
- Leverage extensive experience and knowledge in Hubspot to optimize customer relationship management
- Ensure that CRM data is accurate, up-to-date, and used to its fullest potential to ensure customer interactions, drive sales, and support cross functional
- Define internal sales tooling needs and collaborate with product and development teams to update existing tools
- Serve as a point of contact for Clutch process-owners, which may include creating and customizing objects, workflows, record types, properties, integrations, roles, and users.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales operations professions, ensuring high performance and development
- Set OKRs (Objectives & Key Results), assign tasks and provide ongoing performance feedback
- Collaborate with Product & Data Analytics teams to utilize advanced data analytics tools & Hubspot reporting functionality to generate in-depth reports for day-to-day activities of the sales team & also to track key performance metrics & provide actionable insights for sales strategy
- Execute monthly sales commission process
- Create advanced dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making at the executive level
- Stay current with new releases, features, and functionality while applying this knowledge to provide recommendations for process improvements aligned with our goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years experience in a Sales Operations, CRM administration or email marketing role with a focus on process improvement
- Experience leading, developing and managing sales operations professionals
- Experience developing, documenting, and troubleshooting complex ideas or challenges in HubSpot
- Demonstrated analytical skills, attention to detail, and quality assurance
- Strong organizational, communication, written, and problem-solving skills
- Track record of working cross-functionally to develop ideas from the ground up and commitment to providing honest, constructive feedback to peers
- Complete & maintain 4+ Hubspot Certifications, a plus!
- Experience in the development of sales forecasts & budgeting and territory management, a plus!
