Senior Manager Oncology Quality Initiatives

 

Description:

Lead quality improvement projects using real-world data to improve patient care and outcomes by partnering with a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, and clinicians. Liaise with both oncology practice leaders and life science company executives to understand project objectives, develop a project and analytic plan to assess clinical performance, and manage the project team over the project life cycle. Cultivate relationships with practice and life science leadership to expand Quality Initiative offerings and grow QI projects.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manages quality improvement projects across both life science customers and oncology practices to ensure timelines are met and results are achieved.
  • Provides guidance to analysts to develop high-quality, accurate, and relevant analytical outputs.
  • Presents analytical results in a dynamic fashion to oncology practice administrative and clinical leadership as well as life science executives.
  • Embraces continuous learning of oncology clinical guidelines that will be used to provide direction on project deliverables.
  • Makes recommendations on enhancements to quality initiative project execution.
  • Manages a group of practice relationships and serves as the primary point of contact for the quality improvement projects.
  • Works with sales and account managers to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Partners with practice and life science sales departments to drive growth via new customer acquisitions.
  • Makes recommendations and helps implement strategies to grow quality initiative programs.
  • Meets with customers to secure feedback on quality initiative program effectiveness and helps to implement feedback.
  • Provides status updates on QI projects every week with routine updates using internal project management software tools.
  • Delivers monthly updates on quality improvement projects for assigned practices.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s in business administration or Masters in Health Administration.
  • Experience of 3 or more years in management consulting in healthcare.
  • Experience in data analysis, synthesis, and manipulation.
  • Succinct and articulate communicator with experience presenting to clinical and administrative healthcare stakeholders.
  • Experience developing compelling presentations.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong critical thinking skills: ability to develop solutions that address client needs.
  • Demonstrates initiative as a self-starter who can think independently and work comfortably with ambiguity.
  • Works well under pressure to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for improving the quality and delivery of patient care in oncology.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10-20% of the time.
