What can you expect to do?
- Define, develop, and implement a business development strategy, which contributes to the corporate growth in a strategic direction.
- Understand clients’ Supply Chain/Procurement needs and develop a suitable solution using resource rate card and capability structure.
- Develop trust with customer or potential customer for organic growth of relationship.
- Identify new potential customers and execute an outreach strategy.
- Qualify new potential customers with guidance from the Services leadership team.
- Work closely with Services Leadership, Delivery teams, and legal groups for developing proposals and contracts.
- Provide regular updates to leadership team on the execution of the strategy.
- Provide and facilitate thought leadership in support of developing new and differentiated capabilities
- Interface with the functional business teams to conceptualize and build valuable solutions, products and services
- Interface with the customers, business units, functional and divisional leads to understand and translate pain points to ultimately drive maximum service level to the customer
- Manage the brand identity and communications related to the solutions, products and services
- Oversee the development progress of the Supply Chain & Procurement technology offerings by translating customers' requirements & services team to the product development team
- Develop training materials, architectural documentation, marketing documentation and all other collateral related to the solutions, products and services.
- Provide training and coaching to the user community to ensure the most efficient use of solutions, products and services
- Facilitate value creation with the customers and business units by interpreting the actions derived from solutions, products and services
- Prepare timely forecasts for the sales department.
- Provide expense budgets when required.
- Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Create customer /product penetration strategies and the deployment of such for new accounts.
- Interpret and communicate customer requirements to enable development of services and operational capabilities to support new customers and business opportunities.
- Develop Request For Quote (RFQ) analysis and present formal presentation to customer; ensure key financial measures are achieved within each proposal, including profitability.
- Promote Jabil’s capabilities, footprint, and services to new customers.
- Lead commercial negotiations with new customers.
- Partner with delivery leaders and be accountable for extension/renewal for existing work.
- Provide recommendations to internal leadership for enhancing service offerings in-line with market demands and competition.
