Description:
The Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will join an agile pool of HR team members, assigned to support enterprise/functional priorities and support critical projects or business clients in support of either the Research & Development (R&D), Global Product Development & Supply (GPS), or Commercialization functions within BMS. These priorities and projects may include, but are not limited to, driving the people strategy, workforce planning & analytics, organizational design, talent management, and change management efforts. This individual may take on multiple projects from design to execution and provide business client support within their respective functional area, as needed.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Functional/Global HR Business Partners and other HR Operating Model leaders to effectively deploy Functional HR strategies and activities.
- Adapt swiftly to changing business needs by being deployed to critical priorities and projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including HR colleagues, business leaders, employees, and external partners.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (COE) to identify and articulate the business's HR needs to the COEs and deploy their programs and processes to bring value to the business.
- Utilize HR analytics and insights to inform decision-making, measure the impact of HR interventions, and continuously improve HR processes and practices to drive organizational effectiveness and the development of a workforce plan aligned with business strategy and objectives.
- Anticipate challenges and opportunities by proactively identifying potential issues, risks, and trends and developing proactive solutions and strategies to address them before they escalate.
- Take a leadership role in creating a respectful and inclusive work environment, role-modeling the BMS Values, and fostering geographical and cultural diversity.
- Drive outcomes and deliver on HRBP Contributions through a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function and across the organization, encouraging feedback, innovation, and learning from successes and failures to enhance processes, policies, and practices.
