Senior Java Software Engineer

Description:

· We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with a strong background in multithreading and extensive experience with Apache Kafka.

· The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance Java applications that efficiently process large streams of data.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications with a focus on high concurrency and multithreading.

· Architect and implement scalable Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data processing.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Kafka streams with other components of our technology stack.

· Ensure high throughput and low latency data processing through effective multithreading and performance tuning.

· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

· Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka and multithreading.

· Keep abreast of the latest developments in Java, Kafka, and related technologies.

· Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· 10+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on multithreading and concurrency.

· Proven expertise in Apache Kafka, including setup, configuration, and optimization of Kafka clusters.

· Strong understanding of Kafka Streams and Kafka Connect.

· Proficiency in Java concurrency utilities and understanding of JVM internals.

· Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

· Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
