Senior It Contracts/project Manager

The Client is seeking to hire a Senior IT Contracts/Project Manager to join our collaborative Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) team.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• (5) years' experience in IT project management with the capability of managing complex, cross-functional IT projects.
• (5) years of related experience using both hybrid and agile methodologies, in a large IT enterprise environment and managing vendor partners.
• (5) years of related experience documenting business cases, contract management, RFP and RFQ; as well as project funding requests.
• (5) years of auditing experience, with state government experience highly desirable.
• (5) years of proven experience with Agile and Waterfall Methodologies.
• Proven experience in Jira desired, i.e., configuration and creating reports.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; presentation and policy writing skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities and in-depth analytical skills.
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to effectively delegate and multi-task.
• Proven conflict management skills; decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate and work across technical, non-technical staff, and upper management.
• Proven capabilities in IT financial management.
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint).
• The candidate must have experience with State/Govt. Client and HealthCare Client.

Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and SAFe certifications are plusses.
