Description:
WWC Federal is seeking a Senior Information Assurance Engineer for a contract within the Department of Defense (DoD) at USTRANSCOM in support of Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) Enterprise Support.
Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Plan, design, build, and integrate tools and systems to protect electronic information and devices.
- Implement systems to collect information about security incidents and outcomes.
- Develop metrics and/or procedures for evaluating effectiveness of systems and tactics.
- Evaluate security technologies and tools.
- Develop, maintain, and document configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform security account administration and evaluate system security plan documentation.
- Provide technical expertise to support vendor and project reviews.
- Identify security issues and risks and develop mitigation plans.
Work Environment
- Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
Physical Demands
