Description:
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial insights and strategic analysis to support decision-making processes across the organization. This role involves analyzing financial data, developing financial models, and collaborating with various departments to optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including monthly and quarterly financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and capital investment decisions.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasts, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic financial projections.
- Analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
Strategic Planning & Decision Support:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for strategic projects, including new service lines, mergers and acquisitions, and capital investments.
- Support the development of long-term financial plans and scenarios to guide the company’s growth strategy.
Operational Efficiency:
- Analyze key operational metrics to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor financial performance of various business units and suggest measures to optimize resource allocation.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks related to market dynamics, regulatory changes, and operational factors.
- Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with industry trends, financial best practices, and regulatory changes in the healthcare sector.
- Implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., Hyperion, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
