Senior Director Of Engineering

Experience:

• Lead and manage engineering teams, overseeing managers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural guidance to engineering teams.
• Oversee the development and deployment of applications, with a strong focus on Microservices, DevSecOps, Cloud Azure, AKS, and CI/CD.
• Ensure the integration of best practices in logging, authentication, observability, and DevOps within cloud applications.
• Collaborate with VPs of Engineering and SVP to align engineering strategies with company goals.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve engineering efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor and develop engineering managers and individual contributors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualification

• Experience in digital transformation initiatives and cloud migration (preferably Microsoft Azure, also AWS or GCP).
• Building and managing platform services.
• Agile software development life cycle.
• DevSecOps methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Developer Portals).
• Application development and support of Java/J2EE applications at an enterprise scale.
• Programming and frameworks: Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker/Containerization.
