Description:

Reporting to the VP, Corporate Controller, the Senior Director, Revenue Accounting will be responsible for overseeing the processes for the order to cash cycle, including billing and revenue accounting departments. The role will be instrumental in partnering across the business, optimizing cash flows, and scaling processes and systems to support revenue growth. This person must be comfortable in a high growth environment, and an agile problem solver who is analytical and detail-oriented. The candidate will also possess strong management and team leadership competencies gained through prior experience leading a revenue team, including through process transformations. This will be a critical role in ensuring we continue building a world-class function while working cross-functionally to ensure our systems and processes are running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Manage the execution of global revenue and accounts receivable including the month-end close process and disclosures
  • Ensure compliance of revenue contracts with applicable policies
  • Support timely and accurate billing and collections processes
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs
  • Drive process improvement and automation efforts
  • Maintain effective internal controls in respective processes
  • Team leadership through managing talent including motivating, coaching, and mentoring team members
  • Partner cross functionally with FP&A, sales, deal desk, legal, customer success, business systems, treasury, and tax teams
  • Work with the external auditors during reviews and audits

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
  • CPA or equivalent required
  • 12+ years of experience
  • Mix of public accounting and industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 including consumption based revenue and internal controls
  • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, Aria, Zendesk and/or Tesorio
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, able to communicate complex concepts and risk factors to stakeholders and influence decision making
  • Experienced business partner, skilled in building trust and inspiring others
