Senior Data Engineer

Description:

TOP SKILLS: Resumes need to have these clearly defined in the experience sections and have strong project summaries. These are from a vendor call with the manager:

• Strong knowledge in object oriented programming (not ETL engineers, and NOT Pyspark since this it’s not OO programming)
• Python Programming (Not trad shop, no drag and drop - they need to be solid programmers, strong Python engineers solving data related problems)
• Advanced Sql
• Azure HIGHLY PREFERRED – Azure function, Cosmos db / Synapse preferable . Will consider any cloud experience (In this case, since we’ve seen this role SO many times, if the candidate has Azure, but it wasn’t recent, they can still be considered)
• DataBricks – desirable
• CI / CD
