Description:
The Sr. Customer Care and Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Customer Care with a dotted line reporting to the Vice President of Sales - East. The incumbent is responsible for selling CLIENT products via inbound and outbound calls as well as customer visits and trade shows.
Customer Care:
- Generate revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products.
- Responsible for EDI mapping, maintenance, and customer integration
- Respond to questions regarding pricing, and services.
- Initiate sales calls to existing customers.
- Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business.
- Process orders -- performs order entry, and review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.
- Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customers.
- Issue customer invoicing through EDI portal for CLIENT customers
- Create customer labels.
Sales:
- Sales responsibility for for new and existing customers customers. Including customer visits and trade shows.
- “Telemarketing” CLIENT’s master distributors with scheduled promotions and offers. Communicate with our distributors and follow through with their orders.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- High school graduate or General Education Degree
- 2 – 5 years prior sales and customer service relations preferred.
- Service experience from manufacturing and/or warehouse/distribution company.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to convey product information and availability to customers.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers.
- Self-starter and self-motivated.
- Ability to work as a team player.
