Senior Customer Care Representative

 

Description:

The Sr. Customer Care and Sales Representative reports directly to the Director of Customer Care with a dotted line reporting to the Vice President of Sales - East.  The incumbent is responsible for selling CLIENT products via inbound and outbound calls as well as customer visits and trade shows.

 

Customer Care:

  • Generate revenue by promoting sales of new and existing products.
  • Responsible for EDI mapping, maintenance, and customer integration
  • Respond to questions regarding pricing, and services.
  • Initiate sales calls to existing customers.
  • Prospect and develop relationships with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business.
  • Process orders -- performs order entry, and review orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.
  • Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customers.
  • Issue customer invoicing through EDI portal for CLIENT customers
  • Create customer labels.

 

Sales:

  • Sales responsibility for for new and existing customers customers. Including customer visits and trade shows.
  • “Telemarketing” CLIENT’s master distributors with scheduled promotions and offers. Communicate with our distributors and follow through with their orders.

 

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • High school graduate or General Education Degree
  • 2 – 5 years prior sales and customer service relations preferred.
  • Service experience from manufacturing and/or warehouse/distribution company.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to convey product information and availability to customers.
  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
