The Senior Attorney will be responsible for leading and managing complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), restructurings, and governance matters. Additionally, the role involves strategic advising to clients, developing and maintaining a personal book of business, and contributing to the firm’s business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex business transactions, including M&A, restructurings, and governance matters.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients on corporate and commercial legal issues.

• Generate and maintain a personal book of business (~$1M+ annually).

• Develop and leverage referral networks, ideally with large firm lawyers.

• Provide leadership and potentially oversee junior attorneys.

• Contribute to firm-wide strategy and business development initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Licensed in Texas with 10+ years of experience in corporate/transactional law.

• Extensive experience in M&A, corporate structuring, and business transactions.

• Strong reputation within the Houston legal and business community.
