Description:
You will be responsible for qualifying new customers and generating new business, developing business with them, achieving pipeline and bookings results according to assigned targets.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes customer, contentious and market intelligence to develop sales and account penetration.
- Recognize the breadth and depth of Flex capabilities to develop proactive solutions or answer to proposal which differentiates Flex and enables the customer to address key issues and/or drive top line growth.
- Create and drive personal pipeline in line with overall business unit strategy.
- Play a guidance role in devising strategies to promote Flex Shaping propositions to meet client requirements working alongside Regional VP’s, Solution Architects and Business Development team.
- Knows the customer’s organization, products, market position, and goals, sourcing strategy, suppliers, manufacturing locations, opposition and future directions.
- Owns and drives the execution of the account strategy to close business.
- Research and knows customers’ business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities.
- Aware of strategic fit between customers’ needs and Flex capabilities, in alignment with Flex business growth strategy.
Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Ability to work with internal teams and executive management as well as external customers to maximize mutual benefit.
- Experience in the EMS / CMO / engineering business environment; Knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques (i.e. Miller Heimann).
- Understanding of key financial metrics and capability to read P&L, balance sheets, ROI indicators, taking actions to meet customers’ needs and Flex targets.
- Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/ technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
