Description:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Accurately adjudicate managed care rebates for various market segments housed in the revenue management system (Flex)
- Utilize rebate reporting and validation systems to complete detailed calculations and analysis of rebate claims
- Possess the ability to test and understand the functionality of Revitas as well as the interrelationships between the various functional modules
- Ensure the proper evaluation and interpretation of contracts to ensure rebate payments are made accurately and timely as per the terms and conditions of the contracts.
- Maintain an effective customer focus: communicating with and providing rebate claim supporting documentation to external and internal customers
- Analyze and resolve all disputed rebate claim data
- Maintain systems and logs to track the status of contracts and rebate processing
- Participate and/or contribute to special projects as needed
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedure
This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Please note that this role would not provide relocation and only local candidates will be considered.
Minimum Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree is required; subject area in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred.
- 2+ years of work experience required, preferably of an analytical or financial nature.
- Working knowledge of the aspects of financial profitability, both from an individual product or from a company standpoint will be considered.
- Working knowledge and proficiency of analytical computer programs, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word, is essential. Additional knowledge and proficiency with other financial or contracting systems will be considered beneficial.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry – managed care, Medicare hospitals, wholesalers, retail chains and long-term care (LTC) pharmacy businesses will be considered highly desired.
- Knowledge of revenue management systems - Revitas Flex (Validata)/Model N is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required to ensure ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
- Excellent analytical and contract interpretation skills.
