Senior Accountant

Our client, a privately owned company in the Metro Detroit area, is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team. Position is open to Metro Detroit area candidates only.

RESPONSIBILITIES of the Corporate Accountant

• Corporate Accountant will have lead role in the month end close process with preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Corporate Accountant will support Controller on annual forecast.
• Corporate Accountant will indirectly support A/R, A/P, and Payroll related items
• Corporate Accountant will help with monthly analysis of income statement and balance sheet at a corporate level
• Corporate Accountant will help support any lease accounting related requests
