Senior Accountant

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join a growing CPG organization who is eager to make a positive impact within both the organization and team! Offering work/life balance, and opportunities to grow within the company, this role will lead the monthly and quarterly close process for multiple business subsets and ensure strong accounting policies and internal controls across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities for a subset of the business
• Support all accounting general ledger operations and processes, including cash, billings/revenue, payables and accruals, payroll/benefits, intercompany transactions, allocations and consolidation.
• Implementation and enforcement of internal controls, including policies, procedures and workflow documentation
• Support business integration and consolidation activities
• Assist with audit and public company readiness
• Present financial results to members of accounting and finance leadership
• Completing various ad-hoc duties as needed to support the teams.

Education and Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 3-4 years of progressive experience in accounting
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Excellent and clear communication skills
