Senior Accountant

Description:

LHH is looking for an experienced and detailed-oriented Senior Accountant to play a key role for a Manufacturing client. This position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in accounting including intercompany transactions and consolidations, and experience with large ERP systems. The role will work closely with the Controller and will be an integral part of the Accounting team and have the opportunity for career advancement to an Accounting Manager role.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidations.
• Assist in the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Manage intercompany accounts, including reconciliations and settlements.
• Utilize our experience in large ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and drive efficiency.
• Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, with exposure to intercompany and consolidations.
• Proficiency in large ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detailed-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
