Sdet / Qa Lead

Description:

The SDET / QA Lead will play both a leadership and hands-on role in overseeing the testing of a backend eCommerce system built with Microsoft Azure. This involves leading a small team of QA engineers, helping to optimize testing practices, and ensuring the implementation of manual and automated tests for the microservices in the system. The role involves close collaboration with product and scrum teams to ensure testing efforts align with business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Act as both a leader of people and technology initiatives in a hybrid testing and leadership role.

• Lead the growth of a team, including onboarding, training, and mentoring junior SDETs.

• Optimize testing processes within the C# and Microsoft Azure environment.

• Test microservices applications using unit tests, integration tests, component tests, and end-to-end tests.

• Collaborate with Product and Scrum teams to understand test requirements.

• Mentor team members and lead by example to optimize test environments for maximum efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of professional experience in QA/SDET roles.

• At least 3 years in a leadership or mentor role.

• Expertise in full-stack application testing (manual and automation).

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and CI/CD environments.

• Proficiency with test tools like Selenium, Appium, and Playwright.

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the US without the need for visa sponsorship.
