Description:
This is a Key Person position at the TPO-STE, National Simulation Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS in support of the National Simulation Center (NSC) Support Operations (SO) task order under MTCCS II IDIQ.
What You’ll Do
- Programming and Game Integrated Development Environment Development.
- Be familiar with conventional design patterns (i.e., Command, Singleton, etc.). Version control software (I.e., Git and/or Plastic) shall be utilized to enable collaboration on projects between multiple parties and government design teams.
- Perform software analysis program scripting, testing, debugging, and simulation integration.
- Integrate COTS and GOTS hardware and software integration across simulator and simulation platforms.
- Provide written documentation releasable to the force on the integration of hardware and software enabling simulations and the simulator’s ability to add peripherals.
Requirements And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 4 or more years of experience conducting development within their primary skillset
- 2 or more years of experience in Agile development (Preferred).
- Knowledge and experience in software development and hardware/software integration.
- Knowledge and experience in programming and Game Integrated Development Environment (IDE) development: Support scripting using, but not limited to the following languages, engines, and IDES: C++, C#, Python, JAVA, XML, Unreal, Unity, Lumberyard, Microsoft Visual Studio, BiFrost, CyberBoss, and LUA Scripting Languages
- Familiar with conventional design patterns, and version control software (Git and/or Plastic).
- Knowledge and experience in software analysis program scripting, testing, debugging, and simulation integration to include recommended modifications of existing Virtual and Gaming game design, action-script programming, AR, VR, and MR hardware and software integration and special purpose software components.
- Knowledge and experience integrating COTS and GOTS hardware and software integration across simulator and simulation platforms.
- Knowledge and experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and automation specifically by providing texture, rigging, animation, integration, testing, and validation of 3d models utilizing various platforms to include but not limited to STE product line accepted software, Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Maya, Substance Painter, Quixel Suite, Marmoset Toolbag, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Knowledge and experience in User Experience and interface design
- Knowledge and experience with Multiplayer Networking
- Knowledge and experience with extended reality development
- Knowledge and experience supporting general graphic, audio, and video design.
- IAT II (Security+ / OS Cert)
- United States citizen
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
