Description:
The School-Age Educator is instrumental in facilitating the Education Department’s programs for PK-12 students, promoting CBMM’s mission through high-quality educational programming and fostering a positive learning environment for all school-age visitors.
Ideal candidates will have experience teaching children of various ages in formal or informal learning environments, a degree in education, museum studies, history, environmental science, or related field is desirable. Educators must also have the physical ability to work with students on CBMM’s 18-acre campus, exhibits, boats, and docks, in varied weather conditions. A passion for the Chesapeake Bay and its people is a must!
