Description:
We are hiring an SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution Analyst to join our SAP team. This position will work closely with the team lead to design, deliver, and maintain solutions within the global SAP order-to-cash functions. To perform well in this role, it is critical that the person establish a strong partnership with the business process owners to maintain a clear understanding of priorities and how solutions fit into the business goals and objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring NEB’s sales and distribution requirements are met during design and ongoing implementations of SAP S/4HANA, NEB’s core ERP platform.
- Provide subject matter expertise for core processes, including order processing, shipping, billing, and customer data maintenance.
- Participate in Order-to-Billing Governance meetings where business/IT work collaboratively to maintain a clear list of issues/requests, establish priorities, and set realistic expectations.
- Provide user education for business process design and improvements.
- Author and approve specification documents.
- Design test cases and business use case scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers and other subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between software usability and performance.
- Provide day to day SAP S4HANA configuration support primarily in the area of Sales & Distribution.
- Participate on project teams to support upgrades and assist in continuous improvement efforts.
- Though this role is primarily centered around SAP, it is necessary for this individual to understand and participate in non-SAP related sales & distribution efforts.
- Stay current in related technologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in performing SAP configuration with Sales & Distribution.
- Experience with S/4 Hana
- Good knowledge of SD business processes.
- Experience with integrations to sales order processing, such as EDI and XML.
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex technical concepts in terms understandable to internal users.
- Knowledge of SAP best practices and SAP Implementation Methodology.
- Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
- Must be highly motivated, have a great work ethic and enjoy working as part of a team.
- Must be willing to do some travel and off shift hours as required.
