Salesforce Practice Lead

 

Description:

We are actively seeking a proficient 'Salesforce Practice Lead/Architecture' professional to engage directly with clients, spearhead projects, facilitate comprehensive business process analysis, and implement innovative technological solutions. This role is based in Baltimore, MD and encompasses a hybrid work arrangement. Your involvement will be dedicated to an exciting and enduring project aimed at addressing critical healthcare sector challenges, including the enhancement of healthcare interoperability, elevating care quality, and optimizing cost efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Leading technical architecture, staff oversight, solution development, project coordination, and needs assessment.
  • Act as a thought leader for practice area (ex. Writing blog posts, speaking at events, giving demos, etc.)
  • Works directly with clients to lead projects, facilitates business process analysis sessions, develops and delivers key components of technology solution. Manage technical delivery of custom development, integrations, data migration projects.
  • Lead and participate in Salesforce program management including governance, project execution, development and coding, status tracking, monitoring of critical issues and risks, and maintaining ongoing support.
  • Create goals, metrics, and related success metrics and communicate progress
  • Act as point of escalation for technical questions and assist team in solving them
  • Develop and maintain reusable code and components
  • Maintain knowledge base of code languages, development tools, clouds, and related solutions within the designated practice area
  • During projects, the Practice Lead will help their team of Salesforce developers successfully solve problems and create solutions for clients
  • Lead and assist in hands-on solution design, rapidly build proof-of-concepts and prototypes to evaluate functionality around the Salesforce ecosystem to deliver on key Institutional and product objectives.
  • Develop, test, document, and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation using Salesforce declarative or programmatic development resources such as triggers, workflows, validations, approvals, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components.
  • Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs.

Qualifications

  • The candidate must have a valid work status (US Citizen, Green Card or H1B/L1B/H4/other visa) and must have resided in US for the last 3 years in order to qualify for this position.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Salesforce senior developer or architect role
  • Experience transitioning existing applications to the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience with the Salesforce Integration Architecture and integration with ESB platforms.
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be goal oriented, accountable to self and team, and have a passion to learn new business, software and process concepts
  • Five (5) or more years as Salesforce Architect.
  • Ten (10) or more years total IT experience including architecture, design and development of software applications.

Soft Skills

  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership.
  • Communication skills key Demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate with leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate design and configuration choices and bring about consensus.

Education

  • BS degree in Information Technology or another related technical discipline
