This role is commission-based, providing a lucrative opportunity for a driven sales professional to earn significant income by helping homeowners transition to solar energy. As a Sales Consultant, you will educate potential customers about the benefits of solar energy, conduct in-home consultations, and design customized solar solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Generate leads through various channels, including referrals, cold calling, and networking.
- Conduct in-home or virtual consultations with potential customers to understand their energy needs and assess their property’s suitability for solar.
- Educate customers on the benefits of solar energy, available incentives, and financing options.
- Design and propose customized solar solutions tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Close sales and ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation by coordinating with the operations team.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and sales activities in CRM software.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitor offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and referrals.

**Qualifications:**
- Proven sales experience, preferably in solar or a related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers.
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts related to solar energy.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
