Description:

As the Sales Manager - Corporate at Asilomar Conference Grounds, you will have the unique opportunity to showcase our world-class venue and drive sales in the Corporate business segment. You will be responsible for developing new and existing client relationships, building a strong sales pipeline, and ultimately achieving annual sales targets. This role requires exceptional skills in prospecting, negotiation, and closing business contracts. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes a base salary and bonus structure.
 


Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, although equivalent experience in business-to-business or outside sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience will also be considered.
  • Proven track record of generating new accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of general sales techniques and strategies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with a consultative selling approach.
  • Ability to influence decision makers at all levels of an organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong business communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • High work ethic and self-initiative.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to maintain excellent relationships with cross-functional leaders and line level staff while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Basic computational ability.
  • Ability to focus, maintain attention to tasks, and complete work assignments on time despite frequent interruptions.
