Description:
I am working with a leading engineering enterprise specializing in materials solutions for various development industries. They are seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth and lead a sales team, with a focus on both individual contributions and team management.
You will be responsible for executing sales strategies, securing new business, and maintaining client relationships, while also leading and mentoring a sales team focused on engineering materials solutions.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personal sales strategies to achieve individual revenue targets.
- Identify and close new business opportunities across various industries and Identify new markets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to meet overall team targets.
- Collaborate with technical and product teams to ensure the sales team’s efforts align with client needs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to guide the team’s strategies.
- Prepare and present team sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Key Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in sales including some within leadership/ player coach role, preferably in the engineering or contract manufacturing.
- Proven track record of individual sales success in a technical field.
- Strong understanding of materials solutions and their applications across industries.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to balance personal sales activities with team management responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
