As a Sales Manager at Ulta Beauty, you are responsible for leading through Ulta Beauty’s mission, vision, and values in order to develop a high-performing team that consistently delivers top-line sales growth across all categories. Leading a high-performing team of Beauty Advisors, you will have responsibility for all aspects of the retail business (with the exception of boutiques), including sales, service and operational excellence. Through your focus on performance, people and process, you will create ever-increasing levels of guest satisfaction and associate excitement and passion. You’ll accomplish all of this by:
 

  • Promoting a culture of accountability to meet or exceed the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), payroll, omni-channel, and retail shrink.
  • Driving company profitability through operational excellence.
  • Planning and executing in-store events.
  • Reviewing/interpreting financial and operational reporting.
  • Performing make-up applications, skincare analysis and product demonstrations.
  • Attracting, hiring, and retaining a diverse team of top talent.
  • Supporting all aspects of associate professional development.
  • Establishing strong brand partner relationships.
  • Promoting a culture of teamwork and guest service excellence.
  • Executing the Guest Engagement Leader program flawlessly through business ownership, associate coaching, and leading a helpful and friendly guest experience to drive business results across all Core Job Responsibility metrics for the store.
  • Support continuous improvement by influencing the adoption of company initiatives and technology, communicating expectations, and ensuring the execution of all store tasks.
  • Executing day-to-day inventory control processes.
  • Communicating and providing feedback to field leadership.
     

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:

Qualified candidates will have 2-3+ years of fast-paced, retail management or other relevant work experience. Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
