Sales Development Representative

 

Description:

Glide is looking for our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build and manage a pipeline of corporate prospects, qualifying leads and setting appointments for our Account Executive team.

You'll work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to identify and engage potential customers, nurture relationships, and help build the foundations of Glide's budding corporate accounts. The ideal candidate has experience in early-stage startups, is familiar with Glide and other no-code tools, and has experience in customer-facing roles like Sales and Business Development.

You will:

  • Research and identify potential corporate leads, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Engage with prospects via phone, email, and social media to introduce Glide's value proposition and schedule meetings for the Account Executive team.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop targeted outreach campaigns and messaging to drive new business.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date lead and prospect information in our CRM (e.g., Hubspot) to ensure smooth handoff to Account Executives.
  • Provide feedback to the Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams on lead quality, prospect engagement, and market insights.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for lead generation and appointment setting.
  • Spend about 70% of your time on inbound leads and 30% on outbound.
