Sales Channel Manager

 

Description:

As a key member of our sales team, this role is responsible for managing, servicing, and driving sales through Emerson Cold Chain distribution partners and sales representatives.

As a Sales Channel Manager, East Coast Region, You will:

  • Develop sales strategies and exceed sales goals with each premier Channel Partner. Apply a Channel Partner business development plan to identify and grow sales at key end-user accounts serviced by the Channel Partner
  • Maintain an Active Sales Funnel of all key Emerson Cold Chain Opportunities by Channel Partner
  • Train channel partners on all products and provide product expertise as needed. Ensure Emerson has the Channel Partners’ consideration to pursue Emerson Solutions as a priority over other lines. Engage and collaborate with the Channel sales teams to demonstrate their influence connections, accelerating Emerson Solution adoption.
  • Participate in Commercial Events with your Business Partners to market Emerson Cold Chain Solutions within the Business Partners Served Market
  • Implement the Channel Partner business development plan; measure progress at quarterly intervals. Resolve if annual renewal is appropriate applying financial metrics
  • Employ principled pricing policy and methodology with each distribution partner. Handle all Pricing Agreements and the Negotiated Pricing process
  • Collaborate with End User sales team to audit “bill-back” data for Emerson finance on negotiated End User accounts that flow through Channel partners.
  • Support and collaborate with Emerson End-User sales team. Engage in joint calls on key End User accounts as required.
  • Complete semi-annual reviews with Sales Leadership to review Partner Performance and actions required. In addition, identify any accounts that require promotion or demotion to an assigned pricing level
  • This position is open to remote

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or related technical subject area, with a minimum of three years of food service or food retail field sales experience or related experience
  • 5 Years of demonstrated success in sales or marketing in the food service or food retail markets
  • Strength in understanding Emerson Cold Chain solutions
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Effective coordination and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability to handle changing selling environments
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this position
