Description:
We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Account Executive who will work directly with the Sales & Marketing Manager, helping to support servicing existing customers as well as carrying out other sales activities to acquire more accounts. This position is structured to transition into a sales role with commission incentives once knowledge of the company, products, sales tools, and business flows are learned. We are expanding at a rapid pace and excelling in our sales department is one of, if not the quickest way to grow on an individual level as well.
Essential Functions
- Answer calls and emails in a professional, timely manner to ensure the best experience for our customers and good relationships with our vendors
- Follow up sales inquiries, identifying customers’ specific needs and taking the necessary actions to provide them information and/or quotes requested
- Confirm product availability for inquiries by checking Excel inventory reports and if not in stock, provide updates on when product will be on-hand
- Become familiar with products, configurations, distribution, and manufacturing processes to provide customers with best available options for fulfilling their orders
- Enter data into CRM system daily ensuring leads are organized and management is up to date on recent sales activities
- Attend customer meetings, capturing meeting minutes
- Create sales related documents such as pricing sheets, quotes, and invoices
- Process payments and follow up on open accounts
Qualifications
- Higher education degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in related field such as Business Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Attention to detail and accuracy are imperative
- Self-motivation, accountability, reliability, and integrity
- Ability to multi-task and effectively set and manage multiple priorities at a given time
- Professional verbal and written communication, both internally with domestic and international colleagues as well as externally with vendors and customers
- Listening skills and problem solving, sometimes requiring thinking outside of the box, are critical to provide customers with the best service
- Desire to grow with the company long term is a plus
