Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Revenue Strategist to lead the development and execution of revenue generation strategies for TLH Reckoning. As the Revenue Strategist, you will be responsible for maximizing all revenue streams, driving growth, and enhancing the club’s financial performance. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of business, women’s soccer, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of revenue optimization. Our goals for revenue generation are 1) to provide financial sustainability for TLH Reckoning, 2) to reinvest in our player development resources, 3) to reinvest in our community, and 4) to strongly position us for professional expansion and stadium development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue generation strategy that encompasses ticket sales, sponsorships, partnerships, merchandise, hospitality, and other revenue streams.
- Recruit, build and lead a high-performing team of sales, marketing, and partnership professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue channels that align with the team’s brand, fan base and beyond.
- Oversee the sales and marketing of tickets for games and events, ensuring optimal pricing strategies, promotions, and fan engagement.
- Manage the sponsorship and partnership portfolio, establishing strong relationships with sponsors and partners while identifying opportunities for revenue growth and activation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns that drive revenue and fan engagement.
- Develop and manage the team’s merchandise strategy, including product selection, pricing, and distribution channels.
- Optimize revenue from hospitality and premium experiences, including suites, VIP packages, and special events.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to stay ahead of changes in the sports business landscape and identify innovative revenue opportunities.
- Provide regular financial and performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, trends, and revenue forecasts.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including fans, sponsors, partners, and vendors.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with sponsors, partners, and vendors to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop budgets, track financial performance, and ensure alignment with revenue goals.
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations and legal considerations in sports business and revenue generation.
