Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide knowledgeable and professional retail customer service in store, over the phone and online.
- Maintain an attractive, neat and orderly sales area. Maintain neat and attractive merchandise displays.
- Keep current on merchandise, educational information, trends, techniques of fine art, jewelry, as well as store policies and procedures.
- Restock all merchandise and supplies in sales area.
- Accurately receive, ticket, and place new merchandise out on the selling floor, safely and efficiently store back stock in the cage or under stock cabinets.
- Complete daily sales reports and work logs. Service special transactions including opening memberships, accurately calculating shipping fees and completing a shipping form and performing opening and closing procedures.
- Light housekeeping duties, vacuuming, dusting and glass cleaning.
- Assist store management with duties as assigned.
