Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Deliver respiratory care in accordance with physician orders and established clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of patient care plans, ensuring optimal respiratory support.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations along with professional standards of practice.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and progress.
• Educate patients and families about respiratory care procedures and equipment use.
• Foster strong relationships with healthcare teams, facility staff, patients, and families through professional communication.

Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Minimum 18 months of relevant respiratory care experience, preferably in critical care settings.
