Residential Care Coordinator

We currently have an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in supervising and ensuring the safety and well-being of our consumers. This position offers flexible part-time hours from 4pm-12am.

Responsibilities
 

• Observe and report changes in resident behavior, attitude, and physical condition
• Assist with rehabilitation, behavior modification, and socialization programs
• Teach and support residents in self-help skills and social behavior
• Engage residents in group and individual activities
• Accompany residents to appointments
• Administer basic nursing care and assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
• Assist in the orientation of new residents
• Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary assistance
• Keep records and reports up to date
• Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available
• Administer medications to clients once certified as a DMH Level 1 Medication Aide
• Provide transportation assistance to clients as needed
• Train incoming staff on basic job responsibilities (CLI Shadow Trainer only)
• Conduct follow-up trainings for staff if necessary (CLI Shadow Trainer only)
• Communicate with clients and/or their families using sign language when required (CLI Sign Fluent only)
• Perform other assigned duties
   

Required Qualifications
 

• High School/GED
• At least one year of work experience or self-employment
• Valid unrestricted driver's license with the ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver's license within 60 days of employment
